PCR Turnaround Times Chart

How fast are results provided and what does it cost?

Because these tests need to be sent to a lab for testing, Sunday – Friday test results will be received the day following the test by midnight. Saturday test results will be received by Monday midnight.

Insurance companies do not reimburse testing for travel, but we offer a discounted self-pay price of $165 for travelers.

How accurate are the results?

Sensitivity – 98%; Specificity – 100%. This means that if the test is negative, there is a 2% chance of a false negative. But if the test is positive, it is 100% accurate. The PCR test is more accurate than the Rapid Antigen test.

Should I get the Antigen or PCR test?

Both the Antigen and PCR test for the active virus. The PCR test is slightly more accurate but results take longer. If time is of the essence, we will provide you with the results of your Antigen test within 10 minutes.
